The EQ University BarOn EQ-i® “Total Package” Certification Workshop is unique in that it is designed to not only certify individuals in the BarOn EQ-i® and the EQ360, but also to provide them the extra training and tools they need to consult, train, and coach in the area of emotional intelligence. We are unique in that we offer follow-on coaching to ensure individuals start successfully and have the support they need to be effective. Our experience is unparalleled and this experience makes a critical difference in real world applications. Our trainer, Dr. Rich Handley has more experience with the EQ-I® and in EQ-I® Certification than anyone. He has over 15,000 administrations of the EQ-i®, was the first certified EQ-i® U.S. trainer, and has certified more individuals worldwide than anyone. In addition to co-authoring the EQ360 with Dr. Reuven Bar-On, the author of the BarOn EQ-i®, he also co-authored the book Optimizing People, and fifteen EQ-i® web courses with Dr. Bar-On. EQ University is exclusive in its support of professionals using the EQ-i® in their practice. Our training and services are designed to meet the needs of professionals who work in the area of executive coaching, human resources, education, recruitment, employee development, organizational development, and management training. As part of becoming a certified user of the BarOn EQ-i®, you will learn first hand how to make optimal use of the BarOn EQ-i® in your practice. Finally, we offer the EQ-i® assessments on-line for certified professionals, along with 2 free web-courses for each of their clients, and additional web courses for each of the 15 areas assessed by the EQ-i®.

Our Trainer
Dr. Rich Handley serves as the trainer for the EQ-i® and EQ360® certification program. He focuses particularly on real-world applications of the BarOn EQ-i® and includes a lot of practical “hands on“ training with the instrument. We exclusively train in small groups, so the individual attention you will receive and the follow-on coaching is unparalleled, and ensures that you know how to put the instrument to work quickly, and successfully.

What does it cost?
The three-day EQ University BarOn EQ-i® “Total Package” Certification Workshop and all materials, including pre-workshop materials and a personal assessment/feedback is $2400 USD.

*EQ-i® Certification is a pre-requisite for this course.

Included in these prices is a continental breakfast and lunch each day as well as snacks and beverages throughout the day. We strive to meet the professional needs of each participant in a relaxed, interactive environment. To successfully achieve this mission and to provide optimal time for group participation, we limit the group size. So register early to reserve your space.

Onsite Training Option
For organizations wishing to certify a large number of individuals, we offer you the convenience of having us come to your location and conduct a certification workshop. This option can make economic sense to organizations affording substantial savings in workshop fees, costs associated with travel, lodging and meals.

Dress
Our working environment is business casual. Regardless of the season, we recommend that you bring along a sweater or jacket as facility conditions and individual comfort levels can vary.

Continuing Education Credits
Participants in the BarOn EQ-i® Certification workshop are eligible for CEUs through the National Association of Social Workers.
